The collapse of the Soviet Union started in the late 1980's and was complete when the country broke up into 15 independent states on December 25, 1991.

Considering I lovvvvvve space... I thought it was really cool that the Soviet Union were the first to create a man made spacecraft to land on another plant, Venus! (Venera 7)

DeleteI that it was interesting that after Stalin's death Khrushcev told everyone about Stalin's crimes and people had heart attacks because of that news.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was interesting that the maker of Tetris was a Soviet Citizen. It surprised me that the Soviet Union and the U.S. were going to go to the moon TOGETHER, before Kennedy died.

ReplyDeleteThat Russians were allowed to watch the Grapes of Wrath until it was pulled because people realized even a poor American could afford a car.
The singing video was just the best video ever. I didn't learn anything from it but the drawing was cool.
In the final video, I thought the life expectancy stats were interesting.
What I found interesting is quite simple, the date at which the Soviet Union collapsed, December 25, 1991 Christmas day.
ReplyDeleteI thought that it was interesting that the house was guarded so heavily, it is funny that the generals joked about it later on.
ReplyDeleteOne fact I found interesting is that during the battle of Stalingrad, one house was defended by 25 soldiers and was never captured.
